The UFC bolsters its subscription streaming service, UFC Fight Pass, with premium content outside of live combat sports, including a series called “UFC Chronicles,” which tells the fascinating stories of the athletes, coaches, and personalities behind the sport, through revealing short-form documentaries. I  had the opportunity to direct “Masking Pain: The Robert Follis Story,” an installment about a beloved former coach who tragically passed away in 2017, but left a lasting legacy.

Working with close friends, teammates, and family members of the late Robert Follis was a unique challenge, as I had to navigate difficult subject matter and ask individuals to share their recollections of a tragic event. I’m honored to have had the privilege of showcasing Robert’s legacy, and am proud of the Webby-nominated film that many talented people contributed to.
